My best friend has always wanted to learn how to play guitar. I thought about buying the guitar for him, but I didn’t see one that fit into my budget. He always said that he would buy his own guitar one day. He finally bought himself a guitar two years ago. No one believed he would ever learn to play. He tried to teach himself how to play, but he quickly realized he would need lessons. He is a music teacher and plays the piano. I think he assumed since he played the piano that playing a guitar would be a piece of cake. I told him he should go to lessons, but he convinced everyone he would learn to play on his own. After a few months, he gave up on teaching himself and threw the guitar in the back of the closet. To this day, the guitar only comes out when one of his friends wants to use it to pretend to be a rockstar.
